A glamour bomb is an act/event/object which creates a sense of awe and wonderment in its "victims" resulting in a momentary glimpse into another model of reality.
Glamour bombs are usually in the form of an object such as a sculpture, fetish, totem or any other kooky, artsy-type object, but is only limited by the imagination of the manufacturer. Once placed, the juxtoposition of the bomb against the relatively banal backdrop of a street corner or a public restroom is so jarring, that it sets off an explosion of previously impossible ontologies, ideas, perceptions and thought patterns.
Glamour bombs are somewhat analogous to certain ideas within poetic terrorism, culture jamming, graffiti and street art.
